What We Do

Ride With Faith, Inc.® (RWF) was founded in 2008 by Pam Connelly-Castle to work with local youth in Northeastern Indiana that are at-risk, disadvantaged, or troubled. The objective is to provide an alternative outlet for those that have started down the wrong path or may otherwise head that way without some type of intervention. This is a place where they can learn real life activities, outside of the structured indoor environment, without placing the pressures of their peers on them. RWF® also provides an opportunity to explore what the equine industry is all about and learn what horses have to teach us about patience, love, commitment, understanding, communication, responsibility, and accountability. All of these skills are essential to having a productive and contented adult life.

One goal is to help educate them in multiple areas of business, animal and equine care, learn responsibility to others and self, and teamwork while enabling them to become stronger individuals in their everyday lives and productive members of society.

The RWF® Board of Directors consist of approximately 80 years of equine experience and includes members skilled in veterinary care, saddle fitting, starting young horses, business management, human resources management, and carpentry.  RWF® is  DMHA and SOC certified by the State of Indiana.

Ride With Faith, Inc.® provides real life skills to youth that are struggling with structured classroom work, social skills, and/or peer pressure.

Research has shown that horses have been a tremendous help in the lives of youth and adults in therapy. The horses are used to enhance the social skills of each individual as well as provide physical activity. This transitions program will provide an alternative method to enable young people that are in conflict with themselves or others. It also enhances leadership capabilities along with life skills.
